For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

“But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.”

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

When he comes, he will prove the world to be wrong about sin and righteousness and judgement: about sin, because people do not believe in me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and about judgment, because the prince of this world no stands condemned.

In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
